Looking for an easy way to save money and still cross the kiddies' dream toys off your Christmas shopping list? I've got a great money-saving tip that just may help you get your holiday shopping done, and still leave you some money in the bank.
Many of us are on a tight budget, but we still want to have a great holiday season and put smiles on our loved ones faces. Especially those little cherubs' faces, right? (I use cherub lightly)
Well, I've discovered a neat tip to saving money this Holiday season. It will require a watchful eye, a speedy mouse-clicking finger and good timing. But if you plan it correctly, you'll slay your Christmas List in no time. (Early Christmas Shopping rocks!)
What am I referring to? The Amazon 2013 Holiday Toy List Daily Lightning Deals.
Every day Amazon will have sales on select items right off of this year's most popular toys list.
Yes, only the top picks of 2013 will be featured on this page.
There will be hundreds of toys to choose from, but Amazon has made it easy by listing toys by category on the left side of the screen. Just click what you want and it will sort and narrow down the selection for you. All the toys sold on Amazon will be accessible through this menu, but they don't necessarily end up as Daily Lightning Deals.
The Way It Works
Lightning Deals are items that have been deeply discounted more than the usual low price we are accustomed to finding on the website. Please note that not every toy in Amazon's warehouses will be featured as a Lightning Deal. The toys and games will vary each day, but they are changed daily too.
There are only a select number of items in stock so you have to catch it at the right time and get your order in before all the offers are claimed.
Amazon Daily Lightning Deals will save you money, but you have to catch them. Each offer is good for 24 hours at a time. The discount on each item varies. I've seen items discounted from 25% up to 47%. They may discount deeper, but I haven't seen that just yet.
You can sign up for email notifications about the current Lightning Deals to help you stay on top.
Some of the items will be back up for sale, so if you get to Amazon and the item you wanted has been sold out, you can opt to join the wait list.
The site features tabs that show All Available Lightning Deals, Upcoming Lightning Deals, and Missed Deals.

I've noticed that there are all types of toys featured during the Lightning Deals. There are educational toys, toys for toddlers, young kids and older kids. They also feature games and books.
